Our team was engaged to provide themed roving entertainment for the Thunderball Gala, a high-profile fundraising event supporting the SES. The brief was to deliver performers who could elevate the event’s James Bond theme while actively assisting with guest engagement and the silent auction.

The entertainment needed to be glamorous and immersive, yet respectful and professional, aligning with the formal nature of a charity gala and the values of the SES.

Booking through Melbourne Entertainment Company, we developed a refined Bond Girls – inspired roving entertainment concept, drawing on classic spy-film glamour with a contemporary, elegant aesthetic. Beyond visual impact, our focus was on creating performers who could function as an extension of the event team – supporting fundraising efforts while enhancing the guest experience.

Each performer was fully briefed on event logistics, auction mechanics, and appropriate guest interaction to ensure confidence and consistency on the floor.

Throughout the evening, our Bond Girls moved seamlessly through the venue, delivering a blend of character-driven entertainment and practical event support. Their responsibilities included:

  • Welcoming and engaging guests in character
  • Assisting guests with the silent auction process
  • Encouraging bidding and highlighting auction items
  • Directing guests to key event areas and entertainment moments
  • Creating polished, on-theme photo opportunities

This approach increased guest interaction while reinforcing the cinematic theme of the gala.

As a fundraising event for the SES, tone and conduct were critical. Our performers were selected for their experience in corporate and charity environments and trained to:

  • Represent the event and charity with integrity
  • Adapt interactions to suit diverse guests and stakeholders
  • Balance themed performance with clear, helpful communication
  • Maintain a sophisticated, inclusive presence throughout the night

Costuming and styling were carefully curated to remain elegant, tasteful, and event-appropriate.

The roving Bond Girls became a standout feature of the Thunderall Gala, enhancing guest experience while actively supporting the silent auction and overall fundraising objectives.

The success of the entertainment extended beyond the event itself, with the Thunderball Gala and its themed experience featured on the front page of the Manningham Council Bulletin following the event – providing valuable public recognition for the event and its production.
